WHAT WE LOOK FOR

More than numbers.

NMG evaluates artists holistically. Existing audience and momentum can matter, but so do the music, creative identity, consistency, work ethic, direction, and whether NMG can genuinely add value.

  1. Music

    Strong, distinctive music with genuine replay value and artistic potential.

  2. Identity

    A recognizable creative direction, sound, presentation, or point of view.

  3. Consistency

    Evidence that the artist is actively creating, releasing, developing, or building.

  4. Momentum

    Signs that listeners are connecting with the music. Large streaming numbers are not a requirement.

  5. Work Ethic

    Professional communication, willingness to execute, and commitment to long-term development.

  6. NMG Fit

    Whether NMG's infrastructure, guidance, and support can genuinely contribute to the artist's next stage.

Numbers aren't everything.

NMG would rather discover exceptional music and a clear artistic direction than evaluate artists solely by audience size.

Be yourself.

NMG is not looking for artists who imitate a predetermined label sound. Creative identity and independence matter.
